Happy Birthday Iowa 175! 

Fall Break 4 Day Camp October 28,29 (Thurs, Fri)/ November 1, 2 (Mon, Tues) 

On December 28th our great state will turn 175! We’ll talk about our state symbols and get our science gear out to make  geodes. We’ll study the state seal, and paper mache our beautiful state bird (the Eastern goldfinch). We’ll look back in time at the prairie, why it’s so important and who our state is named after. We’ll watercolor our own Iowa art and some gold artwork inspired by our capitol dome. We’ll make buttons and have an early birthday party to celebrate our midwestern home.
