This week is all about our great state of Iowa! We’ll celebrate our state symbols, our seal, and get science gear out to make geodes. We’ll create a state of Iowa sculpture with a paper mâché goldfinch, and state symbols. We’ll look back in time at the prairie, why it’s so important and who our state is named after. We’ll watercolor some Iowa art and make gold drawings inspired by our capital dome. We’ll also add in a little Halloween fun!

Classes are listed for local school days off, but homeschool, Christian schools, and all kids are welcome to join!
