We will celebrate Fall with leaves, apples, and pumpkins oh my! Pumpkins pumpkins everywhere! We’ll be inspired by Yayoi Kusama. She is an artist featured in our Des Moines sculpture garden. Yayoi created the giant polka dot pumpkin titled Pumpkin (L). We’ll create our own pumpkins and explore printing techniques with lots of polka dots. We’ll paint our own pumpkins for the season.

We’ll make watercolor leaves and celebrate our beautiful changing trees. We’ll have apple tasting and make apple prints. Next up the artists will paint and string a fall banner with leaves and little acorns.
