This week we will focus on the magical world of mushrooms, inspired by a wonderful book, Mushroom Rain. We will make spore prints, miniature mushroom fairy gardens and explore printmaking with mushrooms. We’ll view mushroom specimens under the microscope and make a specimen drawings of several types of fungi. We’ll explore the underground world of mycelium.
