Schools out for summer!

Looking for something creative & fun to kick off summer? We will build our own recycled terrariums, that’ll include fairies, mushrooms, and critters out of sculpey clay. We’ll explore the neighborhood to search for special rocks, and look for the natural habitats along the fence line. We’ll search for pollinators and gather “specimens” to examine them closer in the microscope. We’ll create symmetrical beetle prints and a Matisse insect inspired by the intricate patterns of beetles. All materials will be provided, and you’ll leave with your own magical terrarium and art pieces!
