This week we will focus on the magical world of mushrooms, inspired by a wonderful book, Mushroom Rain. We’ll make miniature mushroom fairy gardens and explore printmaking with mushroom spores, creating characters. We’ll view mushroom spores and samples under the microscope and make a specimen drawings of several types of fungi. We’ll learn about the underground world of mycelium.
